We were really glad for another year to experience the 2018 WTM Exhibition, the leading global event for the travel industry! World Travel Market London unlocks the ideas that will shape the world’s dreams and plans for travel over the next years and provides amazing insight and opportunities to all the exhibitors and visitors.
WTM was a vibrant and exciting show as every year, which always brings a lot of impact to everyone. But most of all it is shaping the future of the travel industry. WTM gives attendees the opportunity to really understand the industry, and the traveler’s needs!
The best thing about WTM is the energy it provides! You get to know and explore so many cultures, so interesting personalities and amazing travel bloggers to get to know their work, so many events to attend and learn new and interesting things and of course so much walking and talking to do!
For another year we had the chance to connect with existing and new clients and grow our business by meeting and making new acquaintances.
Heliades Villas was supporting the stand of Region of the South Aegean islands and we were so happy to meet our old friends again from the neighbor islands and make new ones as well! Strong friendships that have passion and dedication to achieve the same goal, provide the culture and uniqueness of our Greek islands!
We had the chance to introduce the local products of Andros in the other exhibitors and visitors in the WTM, by offering local delicacies. This is the best way to taste the unique “flavour” of our island.
Another way to let people get a real feeling for our country tradition is to bring a bit of the culture to them. So the Municipality of Andros with her representative Eleni Politou organized an amazing event with traditional dances. It was one of the best moments in the WTM where everyone participated and danced, with both exhibitors from the near stands, as well as with visitors.
It was an amazing experience and I encourage anyone in the travel industry to visit. Heliades Villas promoting Andros island will definitely be there next year for new experiences!
