Heliades Villas had the pleasure to organize a fam trip for the successful journalist-travelling adventurer blogger Jenny Lowthrop for a week between July 07-14 in our Villas in Andros island, Greece. We met Jenny at WTM in London last November.
The aim for Jenny was to live like a local in our island, review the beauties of the island and, of course, live the experience in our fantastic villa complex, Heliades Villas. Jenny had the luck to visit and explore the hidden beauty of Andros, the island’s rich culture and tradition, do activities and sightseeing, and taste the exceptional local cuisine in order to write about it through her blog and her popular social accounts.
Like Jenny said, “We would like to thank you all for your cooperation and professionalism that you offered and your help with this fam trip. Everything was excellent, you were all there for us and made everything possible. A big hug and thank you to Korinna from Heliades Villas! We would like to thank Olga Karagianni from Andros Routes for the presentation of the entire island of Andros. Olga was the perfect person to make this opening. Andros Trekking and Ariana Masselou was the “soul” of the execution of this program! Arianna helped us from the beginning and believed to this fam trip, organizing everything until the last detail.”
Jenny loved Zorkos beach and found it a really special place as you can see in the photo below!
About local cuisine, Jenny wrote in her social media pages: “Traditional Greek cuisine served with a view across the lush green hills of Andros. Lamb chops, beef liver, cheese stuffed goat, tzatziki, fried aubergine and more… just what we needed after a beautiful hike over cobbled pathways in the heat. Kossis Restaurant is a must on Andros Island”.
Jenny and her family visited some of the most beautiful places of Andros, St. Peter, Palaiopoli, Olive Museum, Chora and its museums, Korthi, Dipotamata, Monastery of Panachrantos, Grias Pidima beach.
